Single-hand Gesture Recognition For 3D Productivity Workloads

Abstract

One of the fundamental problems in computer graphics-related works is the difficulty to manipulate 3D objects while users work on 2D user interfaces. One of the solutions to this problem is getting 3D input from real world to manipulate objects. This paper presents a system to manipulate 3D objects in the Unity environment as well as operate camera view- points by recognizing different models of hand movement while maintaining keyboard control over the program.
