Installation: Robotic Arm, Prisms, Lights

HCI assumes that users have full control over computers and therefore many view machines as tools. However, machines are not only tools, but also possibly autonomous agents, and some coherence must be maintained between humans’ and machines’ actions on the environment. This project is about discovering a more intimate relationship between human and machine as mutual extensions. Inputs from the audience will make changes to a remote environment by the remotely controlled arm. The process of establishing cohesion with the robotic arm will inspire the realization of  human machine relationship.
